On the afternoon of December 31st, 2025, at approximately 1:33 PM, law enforcement officers went to 788 South 1150 East in Oakland City to serve a failure to appear warrant on 53-year-old, Dennis McCloskey. Upon arriving at the residence, officers spoke with 58-year-old, William Pope, about the outstanding warrant for McCloskey.

De'Onta Bush with Eyewitness News headed to the Gibson County Circuit Court for the Michael Kegg case. De'Onta says the Prosecution and Defense went through 4 rounds of jury selection today. The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says Kegg is a person of interest in a double fatal fire in late 2024. Kegg was arrested on a murder charge, and Kegg is in court today. Monday, January 12, 2026 — While on patrol, Toll Road Deputies initiated a traffic stop southbound at the 3500 block of W Sam Houston Tollway South for Operating a Motor Vehicle on the toll road while prohibited. After speaking with the driver and checking their driver's license through NCIC/TCIC, the driver was found to have outstanding warrant for parole violation.

Drug Arrests Made in Knox and Gibson Counties Vincennes PBS 1200 North Second Street, Vincennes, IN 47591
A Knox County man faces drug charges after a Tuesday night traffic stop. Indiana State Police report that 30-year-old Joshua Almy of Vincennes was stopped at State Road 441 and 16th Street for not having a rear bumper. Officers say that he showed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests.
